We know that disabled people are being refused benefits and our service puts this right.  We have a 99% success rate and get benefits restored by being straightforward, honest and efficient with the authorities.  Our clients are delighted and we do not signpost them elsewhere - we do all the work ourselves.

We are looking for volunteers for our Outreach Project.

To apply, please contact us on:  07983 964 365 or email: office.dabb.org.uk@gmail.com

We are here to support people through the whole benefits application process from requesting and completing forms, medical assessments to tribunal hearings.

The Outreach service we run is undertaken by Jeff, who is a volunteer, and has first-hand experience of completing these complexed and bewildering benefit claim forms from the DWP.

Jeff has been delivering this service to the disabled residents of Barnet and surrounding boroughs alone since 2015, and has a 99% success rate. He not only collects the benefit claim forms and supporting documents from clients, but also fills them in, makes copies for the clients (which he hand delivers), prepares the clients for the medical assessments, then upon the decision letter arriving, goes through it with the client, and advises them whether to appeal or not.

If appealing, Jeff has all the relevant forms, and fills them in himself, making copies for the clients and sending the originals to DWP by Special Delivery so he can track as to when they have been received and signed for by them (this acts as proof of receipt should the DWP claim the forms have not been received).

Yes we do make a charge for this complete service as laid out on the website, but there is no pressure as to when or how the payment has to be made, and we only seek to recover our expenses, so that this much needed and valuable service can continue.

Jeff then keeps in contact with his clients even after their award has been made, to make sure they are keeping well, something that others do not do.

DabB is a not for profit charity and seeks only to recover its costs.  The level charges for all new work carried out, whether for new or existing clients, are as follows:
